Digitech GNX3000

A friend has (I havn't got it in front of me)A Digitech GNX3000
which apears to have an intermittant fault.
All the preset sounds are fine. It's when he trys to put in any sound into the user bank.... one of the channels keeps dropping out.

Any suggestions gratefully received

Thanks for the reply.
I had already read that post but there doesn't seem to be any firmwear
update for the GNX3000 nor the current firmwear at the Digitech site.

I'm trying to find out.. the unit belongs to a friend about 120 miles away
Its 1am in the morning here maybe he could ring them if he reads this...!
Think it was gift to him from the states so shipping back is a problem...
Apparently advice was to do a cold reboot
but problem still exists ..guess its one of those things in the too hard basket ..maybe dropped
when shipped to Aust...
