I must respectfully disagree. I own a "Mister Crybaby Super" Wah and though I love the sound I can't keep it in my lineup due to the horrible tone sucking it does. It features a boost but I don't think I should have to use a boost that colors when they could have simply put in a true bypass.
I am still looking for a mod for this but seems to be hard to find.

Check eBay for an old 80's, MIJ Ibanez "10" series, also known as the "Performance" series. Depending on how much delay you seek, there's the DL10 which is up to 600ms, the DDL10(my favorite)which is up to 900ms. They are digital but very quiet and very warm. They where actually manufactured by Maxon much like many of the Ibanez pedals of the time. I've owned them both and think they're the best. Check out the Harmony Central reviews. You can probably get one on eBay for under 50 bucks.

If you're in the market for a chorus...the Ibanez SC10 Super Stereo Chorus from the same series is a great find too.

They're all regularly available on eBay...check it out...good luck!

OK, we'll say there exists exactly two.

But have you tried it with a good buffer? Most wahs do very well with a buffer in front of them. Good buffers don't color.
Amazing!! Who would ever have guessed that someone who villified the evil rich people would begin happily accepting their millions in speaking fees!

Oh, wait! That sounds familiar, somehow.

I built a second rig as a backup and used a few inexpensive pedals as interims but some are keepers. I'm using a Behringer DD600 (the one with the tap tempo input / Boss DD-5 clone)

Other than not having detents on the Delay type selector... I can't really fault it... For $49 it does everything very well... It's a keeper.

The DE-7 is the best inexpensive delay I have come across, and no noise issues for me

                I recommend...

I recommend that you get an MXR M-169 Cabron Copy Analog Delay, there about $150.00 which isn't bad, and the bottom line... you get what you pay for when it comes to delay pedals, this is about the cheapest i would pay for one. Also, where you looking for analog or digital, their very different. Another option if the MXR Carbon Copy is too much for you... is to get a BUILD YOUR OWN CLONE pedal, and if you cant build one yourself than you can buy one prebuilt... I would love to tell you where you can get those all at one web site... (mine) but I'm not sure if I am allowed to do that on here or not. So I'll let you figure out what it's called and how to get there. Another option (that i do not currently carry is the Electro-Harminix Memory Man, whci I currently use and I am very happy with, Joe Perry of aerosmith uses it on stage, and he could use any analog he wants... it is however pricey ( $299.99). I hope this helps.

                    Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has figured out how to mod the Behringer DD600 ,
since it is like a BOSS dd-5, so that it has the TAP-TEMPO, feature for the
                    footpedal.
Then you would just buy the FS-5U footswitch, plug it into your
behringer, and it would be an exact copy..
                    Thanks.

I wouldn't mind getting something like the Liquid Chorus H20; the chorus would be a nice bonus, should probably get a chorus pedal, too. But this pedal is not true bypass... any comments/experience with that one?
Are there any simple pedals available that have a "sample" feature on them, where you can record a few second's worth, and then play over that? This is optional, but would be a nice feature.

                      Thank you kindly,
                      Chevy
Have you heard of BIYANG ? seem to be getting good reviews and are cheap as chips £40 ish . Can get on ebay

                        Why by junk?

Why would you buy a junk box that after a few time you would not want to use it any more.

Try these. ( Tone Candy ) about $ 275.00 You will love it every time you us it. A thats a fact...

This is by far the best reverb unit I have ever used. Goggle Tone Candy. check it out.

                        Best

I've been using a Behringer DD400 for a couple years now and I have no complaints with it. It was less than $30 brand new, sounds pretty good, and since I don't usually "stomp" on my pedals...the plastic has never been an issue.

It might not be the best, or even close....but it does what I want it to do and sounds fine. And for the price, I really couldn't pass it up.

                          Never used the tap tempo.
