Recently built a MOD Verb Deluxe Reverb Kit which has been working fine. However im trying to get rid of the click noise whenever i step on the pedal. I tried adding a 1M resistor to thr output jack but had no luck. Any other solution to this?

Try this. Rewire the switch with a 10uF electrolytic cap cap in series with the the ground side of the switch, negative to ground, positive to switch. Add a 1 meg resistor across the switch.
The module draws a hefty 60mA or so and the 78L05 regulator needs at least 7 volts to work meaning an good quality 9v battery will reach that limit after just six hour's use. Best the use the DC power input.Experience is something you get, just after you really needed it.

Let's do a little test first to identify the problem area. Put it in reverb mode and then temporarily short out pins 2 and 3 of the switch. Repeat for pins 5 and 6. Note the difference in pop in each case and report back.Experience is something you get, just after you really needed it.

What we need to know is how loud a pop is made as stated in post #8, not what effect is has on the reverb.
That said, shorting 5 & 6 will silence the reverb effect for sure. If it doesn't then you are doing it wrong or there is a problem with the wiring or circuit. So fix that issue then repeat the test.Experience is something you get, just after you really needed it.
