I have an older BF-2 flanger here. No power , no signal. I did find that R64 (very left side of scem) was burnt and open. I replaced it and no change. So what would cause such a meltdown of that resistor ? D10 is ok . Incorrect ac adapter/wallwart ? Dont see any other parts burnt...where should i start looking?

I'd bet my lunch money on a wrong adaptor.

And that often causes D1 to short. Also could be damage to the voltage regulator IC6. Possible reverse voltage damage to C39.
