I realise this was a long time ago you were talking about this but could you help me wth a recommendation of a 500k pot that would work well? And also the R11? Ive been told you ned the ones and that just any one wont work, is that the case?

Any 470k or 500k logarithmic (audio or A-taper) pot will do, as long as it fits the space.

because the board is nicelylaid out and there is plenty of space inside, you can easily solder on other resistors in parallel with R11 to achieve lower combined values, without having to remove R11. For example, 1M and 470k in parallel is the same as 319k.
