  • Roland SRV 2000 Reverb Issue

    Hi Been awhile My Roland SRV 2000 Is starting to make a whining feedback sound It is not real loud but it not suppose to be there Has anyone any idea before I take it to a shop Its been a good reverb unit .

    I'd guess it would be old caps that are supposed to filter out the digital noise related to the clock frequency. Somebody very familiar with the unit might know just which ones, but it may be hard to find someone like that.

      Also could be the DC-DC converter for the fluorescent display. Sometimes they "sing" acoustically.

        Thanks for the file Way over my head but at least Im sure it can be fixed For being over 30 yrs old Well made reverb
