  • source for route 66 mod

    Hi all,
I generally do most of my posting in the pickup makers forum. I've been hunting for the Route 66 mod. Due to the way search engines work, it's not exactly easy to find that combination of terms. I found a guy at Diyguitarist that sells a book with this mod, along with a load of others, but I really am not in the biz of modifying tons of boxes, just this one, so I'm looking for another source. It was kind of a bummer, as I played one of the very first R66 pedals, and it was lovely. When I was finally able to get one, the tonal change was significant. I can tell the difference even with it off. I've heard some of the mods, and I think the tone is much more likable when upgraded. If I had it to do over, I think I'd build my own pedals, but alas, the first Route 66 doesn't sell for much these days. Any responses greatly appreciated!
