  • Gibson Maestro FZ-1B decay issue

    Hello:
My FZ-1B works as it should except that the decay cuts dead out at a high threshold rather than decay naturally. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    Was it always like that?

What is the battery voltage connected to circuit?

Please find and post the correct schematic.
Otherwise you might have to draw it yourself.

there are 2 versions of the FZ-1B - if you have the second one (2 transistors, as below) it probably needs the electrolytic capacitors replacing

i can't instantly find the schematic, as the other version with more (disc) caps and 3 transistors is more common.
