Help repairing DBX 160x rack compressor

    Do you have the owners manual?
    First step should be to make sure you are connecting cables properly and that the jumpers for the 'detector' connections are installed. Without those jumpers, it won't work right.

      Wow, I now feel incredibly stupid! I simultaneously feel very grateful! Thank you so much! Basic function has returned with my fixing the jumpers, as suggested. I'll write back if issues persist beyond basic function (was only able to test briefly). One issue I'm still noticing is that the unit is showing 2 leds of gain reduction regardless of settings (i.e., 2 leds lit is the floor, it goes up from there). Any off the cuff thoughts?
