  • Boss CH-1 Super Chorus LFO problem

    Hi,
I have said Pedal and it passes sound in bypass and effect mode but there is no chorus effect.
Someone messed it up by putting in a holder for the MN3007 by shorting input and supply voltage. But after separating these two it still does not work. The MN3007 is hard to find right now. Except for fake ones from asia. Still I ordered a bunch but no success. These did not pass the audio signal. So o thought maybe the MN3007 isn't the culprit.
There is a frequency at pin 5 and 7 of IC3 but it is not modulated. And there is no signal coming out of the LFO of IC4 which should modulate IC3.
    I changed C24, C26, C27 and finally IC4 but still get nothing.
    Voltages at IC4 are
    Pin 1: 1,3V
    2: 9V
    3: 4,2 V
    4: 0V
    5: 4,5V
    6: 4,2V
    7:9,1V
    8: 9,8V

The 9,8 supply voltage are that high because I use a EHX adapter which is a little higher.
Any ideas, why it is not oscillating?

The LFO is independent from the rest of the circuit. So should be running anyway. IC 4 might be bad.
Are the 8V and 4.5V supplies good?

That's what I thought. As mentioned I changed the electrolytic caps and finally IC4. The voltages seem ok (see above) and the 8 and 4.5 supplies should have no influence on the LFO either.
