Pulse led on boss ce 5

I have this pcb from ce dist. I’d like to know how to use it on a boss ce5 chorus. Where would the ” in “ come from? Or what would trigger the led ?

There's the LFO output off IC4b pin 7, or pin 3 of the depth control.

Bear in mind if you want this to replace the existing Check LED you may want it to be switched in the same way. The + connection to the new PCB is 9v, but the GND would connect to Q10 collector. Solder a wire across R51 to eliminate the resistor and use the existing lead that currently connects to the Check LED cathode (connection 2 on the schematic) as ground

I think that should work OK.
