Tor Browser Anyone???

I've been reluctant to post this, but I've been using Tor, off and on for months.
I never use Tor on this MEF site, but for anonymity purposes. it is handy now and then.
I want to be fully trackable here on MEF.

I have the linux version, and it is a modified firefox browser.
Mine looks like this.
Use it, how you see fit, I just wanted to give others the option, of its existence.

I've been using Supermium. My old version of FireFox wasn't compatible with some newer or updated websites. Supermium is slow, but I haven't found a website that isn't compatible. It's based on Chrome (open source).

The Tor network encrypts and reroutes your ip, similar to a vpn.
If I login to Tor and use an ip identifier to route my location it says I'm in the Netherlands, not the US. The next login will be somewhere else.
The idea of using Tor is so your location can't be easily traced.

What is the Tor network?
Tor (an acronym for The Onion Router) is essentially a network that masks online traffic. Tor browser is an open-source platform managed by volunteers and, due to its onion routing, creates anonymity for users who access websites and servers through this network.
For regular browsing, I use the current Firefox browser, 131.0.3.

Some sites detect Tor is being used and refuse to connect at all.

Hey, even humble Opera Mini for Android is often rejected (for example at TGP), because for data saving purposes they route everything through the Netherlands.

They get the page I want to see in milliseconds through some big fat pipe, shrink huge images, compress text, and resend me the 6X-10X lighter version, which on a phone screen looks the same but sure uses way less data.

Just checked and it states: "8.6 GB saved" "38462 ads blocked" which is fine,
Guess it also works similar to a VPN but it always shows the Netherlands, not random Countries.
Oh well.
