My FP10 died on me in the middle of trying to get it to work on Win 7 ( which it won't with Cubase 1 it came with at least ) Got it fixed OK by Presonus, but it still gets hot after some time use. Opened it up and the parts that died before are sitting on a power regulator chip with a heat sink, but the whole box is sealed and the heatsink is fully enclosed in the box. Should I drill some holes in the case or fix a small fan on the end to keep it cool. Why do they do that? Any thoughts?
