My all-time favorite keyboard was the Maxi-Switch programmable one with a second set of F keys along the left edge which worked great for keyboard macros (like my name, my address and my website URL not to mention cheat codes in games like Warcraft 2.) I would still be using that keyboard today but I spilled Coke or Mountain Dew on it and it never worked the same after that.
What was so great about it was that it stored the keyboard macros internally in its own hardware so they would work regardless of the operating system. It had a limited number of bytes so I'd have to delete macros I didn't really need to add new ones.
So are there any recommended keyboard macro programs for Windows?
