Hi, I have a question about #3 below.
The problem with #3 is most of the notebook/laptop computers have no Mic input now even though they all have headset output [I know of one very expensive I7 notebook/laptop that does have a mic input (like $900 more expensive)]. So assuming I don't want to spend the extra $900 for this more expensive computer what is a good way to go about getting the 2nd mixing board's RCA output into the computer (hopefully at a cost less than $900).
Thanks,
John
- I am buying a new notebook/laptop computer that will run the latest and greatest "Band In A Box" with Windows 10 (or Windows 7 if necessary).
- I will be feeding BIAB out the computer's headset output to a mixing board then out the mixing board's RCA outputs to some amplifiers so jam session players and audience can hear it in proper balance.
- While doing #2 above I want to feed the signal from one or more mics through another mixing board's RCA outputs back in to the computer through the mic input for recording with Audacity.
