    Well....

New PC and its got a killer suround sound. I loaded audicity to do some recording and it keeps wanting to record in mono? What gives.....

I have changed settings, installed and uninstalled audicity, it still wants to record in mono? I cannot figure out why????

Oops, spoke too soon, I found the setting for stereo and now its working.

I guess I'm too tired to be playing with the PC.

    Sleepy time........

How does audicity work and does this program require any special devises or cables.

If you download and install Audacity, you'll find that it has a help section that can answer many questions you might have. They also have a wiki site with lots of information.

If there's something in particular you need to know, maybe someone here can help.

That will depend on what you want to record, and how you want to record it. Maybe you could fill us in on what you want to do.
