Telecaster Body I.D.

Looking to I.D. this Telecaster Body. MIA or MIM? Has been routed for a two-point tremelo bridge.

My understanding is that the main differences between the MIA and the MIM are everything BUT the body- hardware, pickups, neck, etc. I can't answer your question, but I don't think it matters one iota where the body came from. It would be more a matter of what parts you installed into the body.

ca792.. do you think this is possibly quite old? I was trying to find some information about decoding the rubber ink stamps, but ran across an interesting thread on Tele body changes. https://www.tdpri.com/threads/router-notch.250307/ Your body looks like it has a router notch that might be 1960's. Then again are you positive it is even a Fender?

Of course to make things confusing the Vintage Reissue guitars like the '51, '52, etc also have the router notches and diagonal routs.

Couldn't find anything with stamps that jumped out as similar to yours as far as inspector names.
