  • Supro HELP!

I just got a supro tremo-lectric guitar from 1965. How do I get this apart to service the wiring and built in tremolo circuit ?
I have taken all the screws out of the pickguard and it won't come out. The pickup seems to be holding it in place. I have also removed all the back screws but still no luck. It seems that the body is made in 2 pieces / is it suppossed to come apart? Thanks for your help. I am an amp guy, not a guitar guy.

      thanks, here are some photos

Here are some photos. I just don't want to break any of the plastic parts as they are very fragile after 44 years!
      Thanks Again

Looks like dirt from all these years is the "glue" that's holding that pickguard back. Apply some detergent-based formula to get that dirt out, like lemon oil and/or Naphta (lighter fluid). Using a hairdryer you could try to warm the pickguard up to see if that helps.

two of the poles in each pickup are holding the pickup to the guitar
