  • Locking nut through neck screws

    Does anybody know the dimensions and the thread size of the floyd rose through neck screws, plus where could i obtain 2 of these screws

    Any help will be greatly appreciated

      In all honesty, I would opt for a top-mount version, which uses two wood screws to anchor the locking nut into the shelf and are subsequently hidden under the locking blocks. Why? Well, I've never really dug the idea of drilling two substantial holes into a neck in an area where there is so much tension and flexion. Yes, I have seen crack develop in this area.

        That's a good idea. I'm installing one with the top mount option. It's less work too.
