  • Floyd rose scale length

Im just doin some preliminary designs for a guitar im goin to build, and i want to install a floyd rose tremelo onto it. Im drawing up the guitar to scale and with the correct scale lenght shown. The problem im having is that when i go to draw the floyd rose trem onto the body of the guitar i dont really know how far down the scale length it should go, the reason for this is im not entirely sure where abouts on the trem the strings actually make contact (lets take the tune o matic for example, i know the string make contact with it approximately down the center of it between the mounting pegs).
Can anybody tell me of an approximent distance from the mounting pegs back to the point where the strings make contact with the trem

    I hope that made sense

Any information will be very handy
