Where can I find detail on "reso-glass" as used in (supposedly) cheap guitars in the 60s?

I think it's just regular moulded fibreglass, with a solid wood central section. National/Valco came up with the name, and made them from around 1962 to '66, the better/fancier ones are branded National and were never cheap, Supro and Airline branded ones were somewhat cheaper. But they've been rare and collectable for quite a long time, and this has increased since Jack White made them more famous. I have three older wood-bodied Supros and I love 'em. Not bothered about the resoglass thing anymore. These gtrs are more about the pickups; the solid (mahogany) ones have better sustain, apparently - makes sense they would.

Good pics & info on this page - scroll way down...
