im sure this has been touched upon millions of times but here goes i am replacing original single coil strat pups with stacked hums Hs3 neck, Hs2 mid, dimarzio chopper in bridge question is do i stay with 250k or move up to 500k not sure anyone thanks

traditionally its 500k for HB and 250k for SC,

I might use a 500k and include a 500k metal resistor and single DIP switch across the pot, then you can just switch back and forth between 250<-.500 and leave it where it sounds best
