On a lark I picked up an Airline 7250 (aka Harmony H14 Bobkat). It has a single single coil pickup w/ volume and tone control. Tone control acts more like a volume control with little to no change in tone so I figure somethings wrong. I replaced the tone stack cap but not much better. Maybe it's a bad pot, or bad wiring, ...could try to find the original circuit and check but I figure I could just rewire it with a tried and true circuit with new parts and be done with it. What do I need? Is there a 'generic' circuit for this or do I need to know more about the pickup first - ohms or something? Thanks.
