My first instrument. Strat with Fralin Blender pot, treble bleed circuit. Fender Tex-Mex pickups. Everything seems to work fine except volume control does not work. I detect a slight change in timbre when swept toward zero, but no change in volume (assume from bleed circuit). Schematic used was the one posted on Lindy Fralin site. I have checked continuity and did not find any bad solder connections. Would love any help I can get in solving this- hope I've provided enough details.

Do you have the volume pot connected to ground? Also make sure you solder a ground wire between each pot and the output jack. Don't rely on the control plate to ground everything. It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure. — Albert Einstein
