This gadget - EverTuneŽ | Keep Your Guitar in Tune Forever - was reviewed in the current issue of Guitar Player. Looks interesting, and certainly very clever.

Probably too new for many to have tried it.
It looks like an interesting concept and the engineering aspect is amazing. I was interested to read the part about the "sweet spot" and how you need to be just on the edge of it to bend stirngs. I think that might cause the potential for it to go out of tune. On the other hand, anybody who doesn't put enough time into it to figure out the "sweet spot" will write it off as crap when they find they can't bend notes.
I think it will be awesome for hamfisted rhythm guitarists. I'd like to try it on some agressive tracks and see how it does. It would be worth having on a guitar for that purpose.
I also wonder how it will affect tone. It does require routing. -
