Glad to hear someone say that. I've gotten into heated debates with people on forums saying it will harm your strings!

Doncha know the extra tension from pulling on them will warp your neck.

And loosening all the strings at the same time could cause your fretboard to fall off.

Oh yeah, from the necks with Play Doh truss rods and fingerboards attached with chewing gum...

And don't forget that polyester finishes stop the (dead) wood from breathing and make the guitar sound lousy.

And red guitars are louder.
