Buzzing and soldering problems

I am not the best person when it comes to soldering. I recently have an issue. I soldered 2 guitar I built and I soldered a new pickup into my SG all guitars now buzz
I cant figure out what is wrong with it other than it being a groudning issue
my configuration is one humbucker one volume

I soldered it exactly like the schematic said.
same with the SG pickup

anyone help me out on this?

Grounding Buzz....

Maybe you have a bad cord? Or you made the same mistake three times, like maybe didn't connect the string ground to the tailpiece? I dunno...

You will need to provide a bit more information for anyone to help you.

Is it the guitars or a coincidence with a problem in the amp? Do all of the guitars buzz through another amp? Does another guitar buzz through your amp? That will isolate the problem to the guitars you worked on or something having gone wrong with the amp.

I am assuming that you reinstalled any shielding in the guitars you worked on and that you connected them back to ground in the way they were originally wired.

Do the guitars buzz the same all the time or does it matter where you are standing in relation to the amp or light fixtures and how the guitar is oriented?

Can you post pictures of your soldering work?

Without some more information there isn't a lot of advice to offer beyond the usual "reflow all solder joints, .

Is this what you have and how you have it wired?

White is hot, should go volume pot, black is ground and then you have a bare shield ground also? For a humbucker to work and be buzzy you have to screw something else up, it is in the ground somewhere. Hard telling without pictures....

yeah i mean i only took out the pickup and put this new one in. didnt disconnect a thing or touch the soldering iron to anything

i connected the tailpiece one. and i used multiple cords, outlets and power strips to see if the ground was anywhere else. cant find it
I literally tried to unwire re wire and add different pots a dozen times

Bad pickup maybe?
Put the old one back in, see if it siops humming.
It is simple to test ground connections with a mulimeter.
They are either there or not.

It's not a bad pickup if he now has three guitars buzzing. Gotta be the amp, or something wrong he is doing on every one of the guitars he has touched.
