77 P-Bass Weak Note Issue

Haven't Heard back from the guy that was having the Problem.
When I called him back, and told him that New or Rewound Pickups would not fix his problem.
He told me He had the neck in for a new Fret Job.
I don't know if that will fix it or not! I doubt it!

Well look at the frets. If they need work fix them. That might not fix the dead note problem however, but it's not like you are doing work he didn't need.
