Hey Folks,
Yep, I'm thinking about slapping together another super strat copy of a San Dimas Pro Mod after drooling over the new Pro Mod series
I wanted to ask if anyone here has tried the KNE San D bodies and if so what they thought of them?
I did a build of a Kramer Pacer with a KNE K-Pac body and liked the build quality but I felt the shape wasn't exactly like a pacer. The guitar sounded great though. Mitch at KNE does some nice builds.
The New Charvel Pro Mods look great but they use a 2-1/4 neck pocket and I cannot replace the neck with a 24-3/4 conversion neck from Warmoth like I use on my other strats.
But painting a new body might be fun since I figured out how to do a pretty good paint job on guitar bodies using acrylic Lacquer.
Any ideas or tips welcome...
