Access to pickup selector toggle in Gretsch Super Axe

Anyone know how to get this thing outta there??

That is a good one.
I looked at a few photos & there is not a back access plate.
So let's look at it another way.
"How did they put the switch in"
It is a hollow body so my thoughts are "follow the wires back to the pickup".
Did you take out the neck pickup?

This one is solid.

I pulled the neck pickup, fully expecting to see a tunnel going off that way. Nothing.

My uneasy conclusion is that they put it in through a tunnel in the neck pocket before they glued it in...

Can you get to it if you take the panel off the back? I wold think that's how they got it in there.

It's just not right behind the switch.

In fact youze guize are all right on the money.

1. Access is indeed gained through that big ugly plate.

2. This is due in no small part to the fact that this thing is indeed basically a semi-hollow guitar, just a very heavy one.
