I need a 500k DPDT Push Pull Pot for a guitar project.
Do they make one that has a solid shaft, so I can attach the knob with a set Screw?
Preferably one that don't break the bank that is still good quality?
Everything I have found is a split shaft?

The Alpha 500K Audio Pot w/ Push-Pull Switch is split shaft but works well with the Fender Jag/Jazz bass set screw knobs. You can get split to solid shaft adapter bushings if you have wobble but those knobs grab low on the shaft and if you pay attention and make the set screw press against the split part or better yet also fill the slot it works for years with no problem.

      T,

Have you considered the Tele version of the S1 switch? The S1 is basically 2 DPDTs in a circular format. They're not cheap, but they are pretty cool. I rigged up a Tele with two of my split-able Buckers and the S1. Splits them both with the push of 1 button. You're also locked in to their chrome knob...

Do you have a link to the switch.
I am doing the electronics for a fancy Display guitar for a Night Club.
I am not building the guitar.
It will have 2 Rail Humbuckers and one SC in the middle.
A 5 way Strat Switch, 1 Volume, and 1 Tone.
We need a Push Pull to split the neck and bridge.
I usually use a SPDT switch, but this guitar will need the Push, Pull.
Changing the guitar config, is positively out of my control.
I'm just trying to gether everything I need to do my part.
        Thanks,
        T

I'm pretty sure it was this one I used for the Tele:
Fender S-1 Switch / Pot 500k Solid Shaft 1/4" Thread
            Fender part# 0061261000

You may want 250k, depending on the pups.

I got them from this guy:

            Fender Parts

You might want to call him and make sure you get everything you need, the knobs are special, and there's a little coupling piece for the T-style to mate the push-button up with the switch that they don't tell you about.

But, yeah an S1 will split two pickups at once.

                Hi T,

Have you considered a Push-push pot? Kind of cool and not as expensive or complicated as the S-1. It is a split shaft but since you are only pushing it the knob getting loose ain't a prob.
