    I know nothing about them.
    I've been asked what the modifying options are.
    Can the pickups be replaced, and still use the board?
    Can the components like the pots and caps be changed on these boards?
    Or do most just take the board out and go to traditional pots, and wiring.
    If you take the board out, can you wire the exitsting pickups to regular POTs?
    I haven't seen the guitar, so I can't answer my own questions without it?

    Yes, Yes, depends, and yes. It is a huge PITA to change pot values on the board, less of a hassle to do pickup or cap switches. If you're changing pot values, just yank the board and use the traditional electronics. Here's a photo:
