  • Les Paul 60's tribute with P-90's capacitors

Does anyone know what the value of the capacitors are in this guitar? I was unable to find a wiring diagram for it but I found a similar Gibson with P-90's schematic and it looked like .022uf. The ones in the guitar are so small they don't have any markings on them.

Does .022 sound right for P-90's? Here is a pic:

    Hello,
If the cap has no markings I would change it anyway to be sure. It would either be .022 or .047, one of those will work.

Sounds about right to me. If I remember correctly, .047 will give it less treble than .022 but either will work and that's about the right capacitance range. I Had to change the one in my Harmony a few months ago, never did have enough treble, I think I wound up going from .022 to .039. But seeing as how I'm usually a mixed up old fart that may be bass ackwards too...
Why do I drive way out here to view the wildlife when all the animals live in town?
