  • Gibson switch help

Im wiring up a Gibson SG style double neck . Just like the one jimmy page played.

So i have the switch for the pickups , its a switchcraft 12015X . It has 9 pins , 1 is ground.

The only wiring diagrams i can find are for a 12 ? pin sw.

Can anyone link me to how to wire this thing ??

    heres a picture -

As you say, the center pin on that switch looks to be just for grounding the switch body. So, actually it's an 8 pin switch. Here's a typical diagram for a double neck axe.

Got it......However, it shouldn't be difficult to figure it out with a bit of quick metering. It's basically 2 ganged switches in one- an "output" on each switch. One switch is wired opposite the other so that when one is hanging open the other is closed. Middle position is both connected.

Also found THIS LINK which is an entirely different deal. I guess I didn't ask if you had pickup switches on each neck or if you wanted everything switched via one switch.
