Anyone ever seen a Bass like this?

Hey guys, the Bass player in my band bought this about a year ago, and just looking for some info on it.
He loves its playability and tone.
Has anyone seen one of these before or know who the builder is?
It says "Woodstock '69" on the headstock

I would call that a "set neck", because "Neck-through" usually means that the neck wood continues down through the center of the body. I've never seen one either.

It could be a one of a kind hand made bass.
I agree, that it is probably a set neck not a neck thru.

Thanks fellas. I guess the pictures don't make it clear, but the neck does extend all the way to the end of the body.

OK, I see how the back wood is a separate piece than the top wood. I was just looking at the back when I thought it was not "Neck-Through".
