    OK cool. Perhaps thinner 44 at first closer to the magnets, then swap to the 41 for the finish or last third. That way the generated tone doesn't get compressed, if it does.

      You can try that, but I only put one size of wire per bobbin.
      Either, or, not both.
      I can't see how that would be beneficial, but by all means give it a shot.
