I don't think so. Usually the date code follows the code number for the manufacturer. It might be under the shielded wires.
The Walnut finish wasn't available until 1969. The purple labels started around 1970. So I imagine early '70s. If you have the serial number, look it up on the serial number lists and see if that ids more specific.
