  • Replacement nut to remove a Floyd Rose locking nut

    Hey Folks,

I've been going thru my parts and have a Warmoth strat neck I'm wanting to put on a old strat body and the Warmoth has a Floyd rose locking nut but I want to remove that and install a replacement bone nut. Ive seen somewhere out there that sells these retrofit nuts that fit where the locking nut was. I wanted to ask if anyone here has done this. I really like the Warmoth neck and don't want to sell it to get another new one. I've had that neck for 10 years and it feels great.

    Thanks

Check allparts. I think I remember them having a conversion nut, or kit to fix your issue.

        If you have modern
locking tuners then that Eighties locking-nut tech is obsolete. Don't build a new guitar thus but if you have one still, then fine.
