        My luthier buddy that builds my axes has made several acrylic guitars. His latest ones were made from scrapped helicopter windshields. I've played a couple such creations. They're heavy as hell!

        Edit: Here's one of his builds (albeit not "entirely" acrylic. It has a wooden neck)

                probably only (past?) acid use in common...

                looking more closely and Beyond the Sunn's (Randy's band's funny name) setup. they have 2 bass stacks plus 4 guitar stack plus 4 PA (2x18) bass bins and the church (telltale white) PA shoved off to the side... maybe it was too loud for an audience?
