  • NLSD New Lap Steel Day!

I guess this forum is more "electronics oriented" than instrument, but I wanted to show off this...

    Just bought this on Reverb.
Coming all the way from Tokyo!

I calls 'em "tice-ko." Kool lap! I didn't know they made 'em either.
This isn't the future I signed up for.

        Thanks guys.

I'm not sure anyone knows how to pronounce Teisco.

        I usually say "tays-co".

The Guitar Forum here is all about guitars (guitar wiring, too.) I have several lap steels with 6 and 8 strings, console steels with 6, 8 and 10 strings and a rebuilt Sho Bud Professional 1 from the early 70's. Be sure to check out the Steel Guitar Forum... they have a section devoted to non-pedal steel guitars.

              Thanks Steve,
I'll be sure to check that forum.

              The guitar arrived today.

I'm happy with it, the seller, and everything to do with the transaction.

Bridge Guitars on Reverb. I'd buy from him again.
He's in Japan and shipping to Canada was very fast.
