  • Compensated Tele saddles on a vintage style 6-hole Strat trem bridge...

Just wondering if anyone has installed compensated Tele saddles on a vintage style 6-hole Strat trem bridge that's blocked? I'm a believer in the sonic benefits of having the added string pressure with two strings on the saddles on a Tele, & I think it might translate well on a strat trem, providing they fit well. I would rather not drill the Strat bridgeplate, & I don't know if anyone makes saddles that would drop right in without modifications.

No they don't - unless you've got one of the newer strats with the 2 large bolts holding the plate : http://www.projectconsultants.com/GT...t623series.htm

The GT623's will replace the 6 saddle (with intonation screws offset to the left) USA Fender American Standard/American Series teles & strats.
    Other than that - you'll be drillin'.....like I did !
