  • Common Tone Cap Values

What are the most common capacitor values for the Tone circuit found in most guitars?

The reason I ask is because I am putting together a rotary switch with multiple caps so that I can get different tones (when bleeding off).

    Thank you.

.01, .02, .047 are common values. You can go as high as .005mF.
It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure. — Albert Einstein
