Im working on making a "ace frehley 3 pickup" les paul. Which 3-way toggle switch do i need for this---where can i find one ? Looks to have 6 connections according to the wiring diagram...

Why do people want this crap in the 1st place ?

I read somewhere that the neck and middle pickups aren't even wired in that guitar.

Here is Gibson's take, though: http://www.guitarnucleus.com/gitschems/gib-aflp.jpg

I thought one of the "pickups" was a dummy and just make smoke?

On the real three pickup Les Paul Customs and SG's they used a special switch so that in the middle position the middle and bridge was on. The unfortunate thing about those guitars was the middle pickup was out-of-phase.

I had a girlfriend back in the 70's that had an SG like that, and she hated that middle position, so I swapped the middle and neck pickups, so at least she wasn't stuck with the out-of-phase tone.

You could never get the bridge and neck pickups at the same time.

I'd never want one of those three pickup LP's.

That's a three way switch... standard LP switch craft type, but with extra switch leafs.

The extra volume control is a good idea.
