Pseudo Jimmy Page Modification
The good news is that I have been fortunate enough to come into the possession of an old Les Paul Custom.
It does, however, appear to have been hacked a little, with both volume control pots replaced with push/pulls to coil-tap each pickup.
I don't have much of an issue with this, except that modification looks very untidy and the neck pickup volume will not turn down to zero.
Can anyone explain why this should be and/or suggest a simple fix?
Apologies if this seems an ignorant post, but I have been playing Fenders for twenty years, and this is actually my first forray into hum-bucking!
