Given that the Canadian Radio Shack (The Source) has been selling off many of their components cheap, including the large Alpha 1M linear pots, I may just try that out.
Now that you got me thinking, I know there are "tapped" pots that are typically used for loudness-compensated volume controls. Have any of you gents ever worked with them, and would they be useful for more "interesting" sorts of compensation arrangements?
