Shadow E-Performer Pre-Amp Issue

Hello Everyone,

I have an Epiphone Hummingbird Pro with a Shadow E-Performer Pre-Amp.

My pre-amp stopped working unless I push the volume knob to the left or up.

I opened the pre-amp and I do not see where the short is or what isn't connecting correctly.

Any electronics specialists handy I could talk to?

I've already bought a replacement but would like to fix and use the one that is shorting in another guitar once I can fix the issue.

Offhand it sounds like a cracked solder connection - even if you cannot spot it by eye.
