    I have some orange drop caps that I think are .022 uf. There's nothing on the cap that specifies uf. There IS a value of 223K and of you divide that 10,000 you get .022

    Is this the correct way of reading the cap?

    The values are in picofarads when you use the number system.,so 223 means 22000pf, which is 0.022uf.
    Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.
