    check these out.


    I think these are made of plastic with adhesive on the back. I've also seen some that are made out of colored tapes that you just place over the top of the bobbin.

    I once painted a DiMarzio pickups white with spray paint made for plastic because the cream didn't match the other pickups. It held up very well. It got a little scratched over time, but not down to the cream.

      I might try that. I would probably use auto primer on the plastic bobbins to help the paint adhere to the bobbins better. Auto primer is amazing....great for metal and plastic.

      I wonder if Wade tried this yet?
