Stacked humbuckers

Anyone actually making these here?
years ago i had a couple of sets made for me by Kent. They were quiet but pretty lousy tonall. I've never bothered making them but now I'm working on a few ideas.
It would be interesting to hear other's thoughts on the subject.

I recently made a stacked jazz bass pickup. I haven't really had a chance to play with it (I don't have a bass to put it in), but I did a quick test to see if it worked and to access the tone.

From the little I heard, I liked it. Had more mids and bottom than I expected.

I used to have a guitar with Duncan stacks... I thought they sounded quite good.
