The magnetic differences in A-5s etc have got to be related to the proportions / metalurgy. I have an old set of Chandler J pickups i bought in the early 1990s. Those sound great. I need to ask Adrian where the magnets came from. They are 5 mm x 20 mm.

I was looking at some stuff in YouTube in Firefox recently. I use Firefox for gmail because the chat function doesn't seem to load in Safari, and that's how my wife and I keep in touch during the day. I do remember older versions having issues with Flash and PDF files.

My son uses Firefox pretty exclusively.. I don't know why. I think he likes the fact that he can skin it.

I use Safari pretty much for everything else. I also have Omniweb which is pretty cool. My wife used to use that for online courses that didn't work with Safari, even though Omniweb uses Webkit as it's rendering engine, so go figure!

Camino seems to do fine with Flash but All the new plug-ins want either Tiger or Panther to work. I'm still on 10.3.9.
If I ever get some money again I'll get an Intel machine.

You should be able to run Tiger of that Mac. I'm running Leopard 10.5.5, but I should have left Tiger on it. I love the new features, but it's a bit slower and my old copy of Cubase SX 1.06 doesn't work in Leopard.

I just got a 250GB drive today, so after I install that I'll put Tiger on the second internal drive and dual boot.
